Consider Jesus, the son of God,
Who to fulfil His Father's plan,
Left the Heavenly glory,
To become the Son of man.

Consider Jesus, the Son of God,
And that first sacrifice He made
When He came to be born of a woman
And was In a manger laid.

Consider Jesus, the Son of man,
And the solitary path He trod;
No longer receiving the homage
Due to Him as Son of God.

Consider Jesus In Gethsemane,
His loneliness and pain;
How He shed His blood upon the cross,
So we could live again.

Consider Jesus at Christmastide
When you worship the babe in the stall;
Worship Him also as Saviour and Lord,
Who died to save us all.
