LEFT HANDED MORNING

Slept in late and burnt the toast,
Spilt my tea on the kitchen floor.
Dropped a bottle in the sink,
And hit my head on the cupboard door.

Mislaid my glasses and lost my purse,
Slammed the door on the poor cat's tail.
Couldn't find the right address
For some very important mail.

The house seemed over-crowded
Although it is perfectly true
That our humble little household
Is comprised of only two.

Got soap in my eyes when I washed my hair
Which meant that I couldn't see,
I managed to say as I groped about,
"Why does everything happen to me?"
