Not the members of my family,
Or the neighbours down the street,
Not the butcher or the Baker,
Or other people that I meet,
But, please Lord, change me !

Help me not to criticise
Or condemn the way they live;
To be so quick to take offence
Or so reluctant to forgive.

I will see change in my family,
