MY LONGING HEART

I wish I could my love express
In flowery words and phrases,
So each dear one would know how much I care,
My heart just longs to say, "I love you darling!"
My affection to more deeply share.

I wish I could voice my gratitude
In flowery words and phrases,
For each gift prepared for me with loving care.
My heart just longs to say, "I thank you darling."
My appreciation to more fully share.

Love and gratitude need no expression
In flowery words and phrases,
Each loved one already knows how much I care;
No need to say, "I love and thank you darling."
My eyes reveal the things 1 long to share.
