Once Upon a Time
once believed In fairies,
Nursery rhymes and tales of old,
And searched for the foot of the rainbow
With It s fabulous pot of gold.
I found magic In poetry and prose,
Music and fantasy,
But the fruitless search for the pot of gold,
Brought nought but futility,
Then God revealed that in His word,
A wonderful truth is told,
The secret of the rainbow
And the fabulous pot of gold.
"When you see my rainbow in the clouds,
Remember my promise, true,
Never again will flood destroy the earth,
And my promises ever endure."
Now, the rainbow brings me comfort,
As it reminds me of wealth untold,
In God's treasury of promises,
More precious, far, than gold!
