STIFF UPPER LIP AND ALL THAT

Strong men never cry, my sons,
So when people scoff or deride,
Always keep a stiff upper lip
But they still hurt Inside.

Do not weep today, my daughters,
Hold up your heads with praise.
You can always cry tomorrow,
But we still hurt Inside.

If you feel your heart Is breaking,
Don't make a fuss, let us be your guide;
Many others are worse off than you,
But we still hurt inside.

Jesus said "If you are weary or troubled,
Come to me, I will in you abide;
I will heal your heart, and dry your tears,
Never more need you hurt Inside."
