THE QUIET TIME

As I am quiet before Thee Lord,
At this early hour;
Set my spirit free, Lord,
By the Holy Spirit's power.

I long to praise Thy name Lord
But Satan hinders me,
Tightening the cords of bondage,
And is loth to set me f ree.

Lord, you can conquer Satan,
His bondage remove from me,
Allow my soul to praise and pray
As you set my spirit free.
